STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (WFLA) — The cause of death has been released following the two students, including one from Indian Shores, who were found deceased inside a car on Monday.
School officials said 20-year-old Luke Reimer, of Indian Shores, and 20-year-old Mary Mich, of Pennsylvania, were found inside a car in the parking lot of St. Agnes Residence Hall on the Franciscan University of Steubenville campus.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s office has now confirmed that their deaths were accidental and the result of carbon monoxide poisoning, relating to a vehicle exhaust leak.
