Cork & Bull owners dispute narrative of women suing them after restaurant incident

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — The owners of the Cork & Bull Chophouse are responding to nine women who say they were discriminated against after being removed from the restaurant following a brawl involving three other women.

The owners, Brian and Teresa Mullins, dispute the narrative of the nine women, who have filed a $5 million lawsuit against Cork & Bull, and believe they will be vindicated for the actions of the restaurant on the night of the Nov. 6 incident.

They say they have spent more than 80 days reviewing surveillance footage and conducting an internal investigation into staff actions and events of that night. They said they chose not to engage publicly about the incident.
