KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knox County District Attorney General’s Office said prosecutors were able to get a conviction for a man who raped an unconscious woman and recorded the crime.
After a three-day trial, a jury found Rudolph Valentino Campbell III, 44, guilty on two counts of rape and one count of disseminating unlawful photographs. Campbell faces 12-20 years in prison without the possibility of parole. His sentencing is scheduled for March 26.
According to the DA’s office, Knoxville police responded to the incident on Dec. 17, 2024. The victim told police she ended up at Campbell’s house after a night of drinking and passed out. She said he sexually assaulted her while she was unconscious, recorded it and sent the video to another person…
