Police in Lancaster County charged a 26-year-old man this month with aggravated animal cruelty after he beat his girlfriend’s French bulldog unconscious for going to the bathroom in his home, according to charging documents.
A veterinarian on Jan. 4 contacted Northern Lancaster County Regional Police after a client brought a French bulldog to her clinic with a serious head injury.
The veterinarian said the dog, named Winter, had possible brain damage and blood in its eyes. The dog was also unconscious at one point, the affidavit said…
