LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A major upgrade is coming to L&N Stadium thanks to a $2 million gift from longtime University of Louisville supporters Isac and Carrie Roths.
The University of Louisville Athletic Association board Tuesday approved a project to modernize the stadium’s lighting system, a move that will be funded in large part by the Roths’ 10-year commitment.
The lighting upgrades will replace much of the original system installed when the stadium opened in 1998. Only the east-side lights were updated during a 2010 expansion.
