MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The jury that found an accused drug kingpin and his wife guilty has handed down a split verdict on money and property that prosecutors argued represented the fruits of their drug trade.
The jury on Thursday ordered Glennie Antonio “Little Man” McGee and Echandza Dianca Maxie to surrender some but not all of the real estate, jewelry and cash that prosecutors targeted. However, the government may ultimately be able to get the rest of the real estate and personal property.
Prosecutors argued that the couple amassed millions of dollars from a cocaine and fentanyl distribution network in the Mobile area that used children as couriers.
