MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A woman accused of stealing nearly $1,700 from a Martin County resident giggled as detectives placed her in handcuffs, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say 21-year-old Thalia Jacqueline James, from Daytona Beach, turned herself in on a warrant tied to a bank phone scam but refused to identify anyone else who may have been involved. Bodycam video shows the interaction between James and the arresting deputies.
