The sale of property formerly owned and occupied by Woody’s Waterfront restaurant on St. Pete Beach closed Jan. 12 for a sales price of $2.4 million.
Located at 7308 Sunset Way, the restaurant had been a staple on the beach for over 35 years. Following devastating damage from Hurricane Helene in 2024, and the site being rendered unusable, owners Roxene Riles and Marlo George listed the restaurant, along with two lots, for sale in February 2025 for $4.45 million. The price was reduced to $3.85 million in August.
The 2,394 gross square-foot structure, situated on a 0.09-acre parcel of land, was built in 1945. The two vacant lots on either side of the restaurant comprise one with .024 acres and the other with .15 acres…
