Salina, N.Y. — The family of a 19-year-old Syracuse woman is demanding answers after she died two weeks ago from a gunshot wound to the head in a Salina home.
At about 10 p.m. Jan. 9, Branaiza Stanley suffered a gunshot wound and was later pronounced dead at Upstate University Hospital, according to Thomas Newton, a spokesperson for the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.
