WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Wilmington city officials have announced that the new roundabout at River Road and Independence Boulevard has opened.
According ot the city, the roundabout opened to traffic on Friday, Jan. 23, including access to River Road to and from the north.
Some adjacent work is still ongoing and additional paving is also scheduled in the next few weeks, the city said…
