Olympic gold medalist not able to attend Toledo ice skating event due to weather and travel conditions, but event still happening, Metroparks says

TOLEDO, Ohio — Because of winter weather impacting travel around the country, Olympic gold medalist and host Scott Hamilton will not be able to attend a skating fundraiser at the Glass City Metropark Friday afternoon, though the event will still continue as planned.

According to Metroparks Toledo, impending winter weather impacting travel across the country has prevented Hamilton from making it to Toledo for the event.
