OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Residents at Dundee View Apartments have gone without reliable hot water since November, enduring an ongoing crisis that has left families struggling with basic daily tasks during bitter cold weather.
The hot water has been spotty for more than two months, according to residents and city officials. The water works one day but then goes out again, sometimes for several days at a time. One tenant said the water coming out of his faucet measured 42 degrees.
City officials express frustration
City Council President Danny Begley said the residents deserve to have the issue fixed.
“I drive by here every day and I don’t see any construction contractors here that are working to fix the problem, and that’s so disheartening,” Begley said…
