(SOUTHERN COLORADO) —The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said an investigation into stolen vehicles led to an arrest in Pueblo and the recovery of multiple stolen vehicles in Colorado Springs.
According to CSPD, on Wednesday, Jan. 21, CSPD’s Metro Property Section was investigating stolen vehicles and trailers. A suspect related to that investigation, identified as 22-year-old Landon Austin, was allegedly seen driving a stolen vehicle on I-25. Police attempted a traffic stop, but Austin drove away from officers, according to CSPD.
Later, Austin was found in Pueblo by CSPD detectives and arrested by the Pueblo Police Department (PPD). Investigators seized two storage trailers believed to have been stolen and obtained a search warrant for a storage unit in Colorado Springs…
