In Year 1 of Fort Collins trash contract, Republic paid $15K in fines

After one year under a new residential trash service contract with Republic Services, the city of Fort Collins is reporting progress on the goals the program was meant to achieve and on resolving issues with service.

The number of missed pickups that weren’t resolved has dropped, more residents are participating and the proportion of waste going to the landfill is down.
