Albuquerque man accused of killing woman outside Adam Food Market enters plea

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man accused of killing a woman outside the Adam Food Market in southeast Albuquerque in 2024 has pleaded no contest.

Alexander Ortiz is charged with second-degree murder with a firearm enhancement and tampering with evidence in connection with the Jan. 17, 2024 shooting death of Nicole Maldonado.
