In a ceremony that bridged the gap between civic leadership and public safety, the Rotary Club of Chattanooga has officially recognized Sergeant Robin Davenport of the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) with the prestigious “Semper Paratus” Award.
The award, whose name translates to “Always Ready,” is traditionally associated with the highest standards of preparedness and service. While famously the motto of the U.S. Coast Guard, the Rotary Club utilized the title to highlight Sgt. Davenport’s tireless readiness to serve the city’s most vulnerable population: its youth.
