COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – A large winter storm develops across the southern Plains Friday night before moving across the eastern part of the country this weekend. We still aren’t concerned for wintry weather in most spots locally; a chance for a brief period of wintry weather is possible early Sunday or Sunday morning in our far northern counties.
Clouds with perhaps a few peeks of sun Friday. A chance of spotty showers, especially during the first part of the day. Temperatures will climb into the upper 50s north, near 60 in Columbus and Phenix City with low 60s to maybe a few mid 60s in our southern areas.
Mainly cloudy Friday night. Perhaps a stray shower. Lows in the upper 30s north with low to mid 40s elsewhere…
