SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Schenectady’s first natural wine bar has officially opened its doors. Toni’s Wine Bar had a ribbon cutting on Thursday.

The wine bar is owned by Toni Riggi, who previously worked for Mazzone Hospitality and Frog Alley Brewing. The space is just under 1,000 square feet. The Schenectady Metroplex Development Authority helped in upgrading the building’s façade.
“I am thrilled to finally bring natural wine to Schenectady and am happy to be joining such a talented group of passionate small businesses owners who have worked tirelessly to make downtown what it is today,” said Riggi.

Natural wine contains little to no chemicals throughout the wine-making process. In addition to natural wine, the bar serves local craft beer, non-alcoholic options and a small selection of liquor. Cheese plates and cheesecake are also available.
