AXIS, Ala. (WALA) – The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating after a contractor died Tuesday at the SSAB steel plant on Highway 43.
Johnny Rosario was working for GA West, the company doing roof repairs at the facility, when he fell through a roof panel, according to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said Rosario was not using safety equipment while working on the roof. He stepped on a panel that gave way and fell, hitting his head on a metal staircase…
