I have noticed that Mr. McGinty and others like him are protesting on or near the curbing on our public roadways. I would suggest to all protesters to read the Florida laws on how close you can erect any type of signage.
The law states that the highway easement is 100 feet from the centerline of the road. It is illegal, and according to Florida law you cannot even get a permit to demonstrate that would cause impeding the movement of traffic. I visited our local sheriff’s annex office on 466 and pointed out the law to them. You Mr. McGinty, have the right of free speech, but please check
on line and read what Florida state law says about what you and your friends are doing…
