A man in his 20s has died following an industrial accident in Skaneateles, authorities confirmed on Thursday (January 23).
The incident occurred around 10:36 a.m. on Thursday when emergency responders were called to a location on Coon Hill Road in the town of Skaneateles. According to Onondaga County 911 dispatches, the victim was struck in the head by an excavator at the worksite, as reported by Syracuse.com.
First responders transported the injured worker to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s name pending notification of family members…
