HOUSTON (CW39) — Deputies in Harris County are looking for a man who escaped custody while being taken to a hospital on Friday.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said that Carlos Hernandez was being transferred by a District 1 unit to Ben Taub Hospital around noon Friday. He was arrested following an aggravated assault call at the 9800 block of Berry Orchard Lane.
But at the hospital around 4:45 p.m. Hernandez, 27, escaped custody, deputies said.
