The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly early-morning crash on I-80 in Sparks that shut down traffic for several hours Saturday morning.
On January 24 at around 5:10 a.m. troopers were called out to westbound I-80 just east of Vista Boulevard, where investigators say an adult man riding a bicycle was killed after being struck by a vehicle.
Westbound I-80 was closed for about three hours while crews worked the scene and investigators gathered evidence. The roadway has since reopened, and traffic is now flowing normally…
