‘Revoke the permit’: Protesters removed from City Hall during council meeting

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A group protesting Portland’s ICE facility was forced out of City Hall Wednesday night during a city council meeting, with authorities confirming pepper spray was used against them outside of the building.

According to Portland police, officers were called to City Hall after reports of 20 to 30 people “being unruly” during the meeting.

Authorities also said that some people were attempting to open chamber doors forcibly and refused to leave when asked…
