Multiple West Side businesses targeted in series of break-ins

CHEVIOT, Ohio (WKRC) – A series of break-ins has prompted a collaborative investigation by multiple departments in Cheviot.

At least four businesses were targeted early on Friday, starting with Long John Silver’s at about 4:25 a.m. The other break-ins were discovered shortly after, around 5 a.m.

Among the affected businesses was New Java Jackets Bakery, located in the former space of Regina Bakery, where the front door was smashed. The door has since been repaired. Up, Up and Away comic book store, situated across from the bakery, and Backstreet Salon at the corner of Woodbine and Trevor were also hit…
