RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — The Richland County Sheriff’s Department has arrested a 25-year-old man following an armed robbery and attempted carjacking at a Columbia car dealership on Saturday.
According to the sheriff’s department, deputies were called to Columbia City Cars at 6409 Two Notch Road around 2:40 p.m. on January 24, 2026, after a report of an armed robbery.
Investigators say a male suspect implied he was armed by gesturing under his clothing and demanded vehicle keys from dealership staff.
