Child, driver airlifted to hospital after car flips in North Carolina crash; felon driver now facing drug, gun charges, sheriff says

RAEFORD, N.C. (WNCN) — A convicted felon was arrested on gun and drug charges after he was driving in a Hoke County crash that seriously injured a child earlier this week, deputies said.

The crash happened Tuesday in the 8400 block of St. Paul’s Drive, about four miles southeast of Raeford, according to Capt. Steven Blakley of the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office.
