KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (TCN) — After her elderly bedbound father was found with pressure sores so extensive that bones were visible, a woman was charged with aggravated neglect.
According to a general sessions docket obtained by WATE, a 74-year-old man was transported to the hospital on Jan. 2, where staff found that his blood sugar was more than 600 and that he had pressure sores so extensive that muscle was exposed and three of his vertebrae were visible.
