A 5-year-old girl and her 50-year-old grandfather have died after falling through an icy pond in Michigan.
Deputies were alerted that two people “fell through the ice on a pond” while riding in a Utility Task Vehicle (UTV), a rugged off-road vehicle, along Clinton Road in the Westphalia Township at around 5:20 p.m. local time on Wednesday, Jan. 21, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said in a news release on Facebook.
