Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department killed an armed robbery suspect at a West Hills shopping center Thursday night.
LASD said the detectives were conducting a surveillance operation tied to recent robberies in Calabasas and Westlake Village when they witnessed the suspect try to rob a woman at the Fallbrook Center. The detectives said they tried to detain the suspect before opening fire.
