RUTHERFORD COUNTY , Tenn. (WZTV) — A devastating house fire destroyed the home of a Rutherford County Fire Rescue captain and his wife late Friday night, leaving them with nothing but the clothes they were wearing and claiming the lives of their dogs.
Rutherford County officials said the fire broke out Friday night, Jan. 23, at the home of Fire Rescue Capt. Tyler Benefield and his wife, Harlee.
