MS-13 member charged in Southern California with multiple crimes, including homicide

An active member of the Salvadoran criminal gang MS-13 is being charged in Southern California with multiple crimes including homicide, federal officials say.

The U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement issued a statement early Saturday morning announcing the arrest of William Geoevanni Martinez-Vivas on multiple charges after he served time for illegal reentry.

Martinez-Vivas is being charged with homicide, assault, burglary, trespassing and property crimes, according to ICE.

He was already in custody at a secure facility when the latest charges were filed, officials noted…
