AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Area Office of Emergency Management announced that residents and business owners in Potter and Randall counties impacted by recent severe weather can now complete the Texas Division of Emergency Management’s iSTAT Damage Survey.
Officials said the TDEM survey aims to help local and state officials understand where and how damage occurred, supporting cleanup, repair, and recovery efforts, as well as providing emergency management teams with a better understanding of community needs.
Local organizations expand services amidst inclement weather
Amarillo OEM detailed that the survey does not replace filing an insurance claim and does not guarantee individual assistance. It is used solely to assess overall damage across the community.
