Green Bay native shot & killed by federal ICE agents in Minneapolis

(WFRV) – The Minneapolis Police Department’s Chief Brian O’Hara and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz say the man who was fatally shot by ICE Agents in Minneapolis was a 37-year-old man. The Associated Press has confirmed his name was Alex Pretti.

Pretti’s father, Michael, who lives in Colorado, told the AP that he was born in Illinois, was an avid outdoorsman and that he was an intensive care unit nurse.

Online records from the Green Bay Press-Gazette show Pretti as a 2006 graduate of Preble High School and on the honor roll in the same year.

Pretti’s father also told the AP that he grew up in Green Bay, played football, baseball and ran track at Preble. He also sang in the Green Bay Boy Choir, according to the AP.
