Friendswood Man Arrested After Burglary of Business, Stolen Tools Recovered

FRIENDSWOOD — A Friendswood man has been arrested following the burglary of a business at a shopping center along South Friendswood Drive, according to the Friendswood Police Department.

Police say the burglary occurred sometime between 2 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on January 23 in the 100 block of S. Friendswood Drive. An estimated $7,000 worth of power tools was reported stolen.

Officers gathered surveillance video from the area, which led investigators to identify a suspect and the vehicle believed to be involved. Police later located Jesus Ordaz, 49, of Friendswood, and recovered all of the stolen property…
