COVINGTON COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – A Pearl woman died after a fiery crash in Covington County.
The crash occurred on U.S. 49 around 8:00 p.m. on January 22, 2026.

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP), a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling south on the highway when the vehicle left the road, struck an embankment and caught fire.
