Sometimes the best dates don’t involve reservations weeks in advance or a full sit-down dinner. Instead, they’re built around sharing cocktails, small plates and having intimate conversations where the lighting is intentional and distractions are few.
That idea is exactly what Hunter Hoshiko and the other co-owners of Twin Staves Cocktail Lounge, located in downtown Windsor at 201 Fourth St., had in mind when they brought together Larado Whiskey and Ridge River Whiskey. They wanted to create a space where both Colorado brands could shine — which is why the place is named “Twin Staves.”
