SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and Becky Rasmussen with Call to Freedom and Melissa Johnson with Oh My Cupcakes! joined Dakota News Now to tell us more about Igniting Freedom.
“We have collaborated with some amazing community partners, including Melissa and Oh My Cupcakes, to ignite our community into action behind the issue of human trafficking. So, we’ve partnered with a couple of entities, but we also wanted to focus on local businesses, and also give people tangible ways to get involved with the issue,” said Rasmussen.
