Grease Fire at Chicken Restaurant Causes $30K in Damage

A fire broke out in the kitchen area of Campestre Chicken (11400 Cherry Hill Road) on Friday at the Maryland Farms Shopping Center in White Oak, a retail center that spans both Montgomery County and Prince George’s County, prompting a large response from Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS).

According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, According to MCFRS, the fire was determined to be a grease fire originating in the kitchen ductwork.
