A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for wanton endangerment and drug trafficking crimes on Friday.
Thirty-one-year-old Jayontez Poindexter of Hopkinsville was indicted for multiple charges after he reportedly assaulted a woman and pointed a handgun at her on December 3, 2025. Poindexter was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, second-degree terroristic threatening, possession of marijuana and fourth-degree assault.
Forty-seven-year-old Terry Harris of Hopkinsville was indicted for multiple charges after he was reportedly involved in an endangerment incident and kicked the arresting officer in November 2025.
