JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. — A fire destroyed a home early Saturday morning, leaving residents displaced, according to the James City County Fire Department.
Fire crews responded around 5:40 a.m. to a home in the 100 block of Archer Hope Drive in the Kingspoint subdivision. Residents were woken up by the fire, safely got out of the house, and called 911.
Firefighters arrived on scene to find flames coming from the back and roof of the two-story home. Crews began with an exterior attack before moving inside to fully extinguish the fire.
