WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Sunday: cloudy, patchy drizzle and freezing drizzle slickening some surfaces, temps clawing above freezing for Wilmington and the beaches this morning and far inland areas by the middle to late afternoon.
Sunday night: cloudy with widespread rain of a quarter to a half an inch, stray rumbles, and wacky temps rising through the 30s and 40s well inland and briefly spiking in the 50s and 60s for some communities closer to the coast!
Monday and Monday night: cold, dry winds with temps hovering in the 30s and 40s in the day before diving to the 10s to near 20 in the night. Bundle your people and pets for wind chills as low as the single digits early Tuesday!…
