Dangerously Cold Wind Chills for Southern Wisconsin Monday Morning

  • A Cold Weather Advisory will go into effect at midnight tonight until 12 PM on Monday for dangerously cold wind chills of 20-25 degrees below zero
  • Quiet week ahead with little to no snow chances
  • Temperatures remain below average to close out the month of January

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – After a frigid day yesterday with a high of only -3 degrees and a low of -19 degrees in Madison, we are making small improvements today. High temperatures will climb into the single digits above zero across southern Wisconsin by this afternoon. We will start the day with mostly cloudy skies, with clouds gradually decreasing during the afternoon hours as high pressure builds into the upper plains.
