Thousands in Caddo Parish and tens of thousands around the region are starting Sunday morning in the dark after a day of freezing precipitation from Winter Storm Fern.
More than 65,000 of SWEPCO customers in the utility’s three-state territory were without power at 8 a.m. Sunday. That includes more than 42,600 in Louisiana, more than 15,700 of those are in Caddo Parish, according to SWEPCO’s outage map.
The number of SWEPCO customers without power in Louisiana at 8 a.m. Sunday amounted to more than 18% of the utility’s total customers in the state, according to the map. In Caddo, it was more than 13% of the total customers in the parish…
