The Chicago area may have escaped the brunt of a winter storm hammering parts of the country, but snowfall totals are still piling up around the region.
The city itself has been especially hard-hit, with lake-enhancement of that snow billowing into the city off of Lake Michigan thanks to northeasterly winds late Saturday and into Sunday.
