SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Firefighters are working to put out a fire in the attic of an apartment in Scottsdale on Sunday morning.
Just after 9 a.m., first responders were dispatched to the Sonoran Vista Apartments near Redfield Road and Thompson Peak Parkway, according to the Scottsdale Fire Department.
A neighbor was able to get residents out before crews arrived. Once firefighters made it to the complex, they cleared the second-floor unit and evacuated surrounding apartments.
