BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – With temperatures already well below freezing in Western New York, local fire and highway officials warn of the added safety risks not only on the roads but at home too.
“This is winter in Western New York, and all of your municipal governments, highway departments and DPWs have been preparing for this since the summertime,” said James Dussing, superintendent of highways in Clarence.
