Hundreds of Charlotte-area residents were without power Sunday morning as a winter storm continues to coat the area in ice and sleet.
As of 11 a.m., Duke Energy reported 175 customers without service in the Charlotte area, with most of those reported in Kannapolis, and pockets in east and south Charlotte.
