NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Newport News firefighters extinguished a house fire on Sherbrooke Drive Saturday afternoon, according to the Newport News Fire Department.
The Newport News Fire Department responded to a fire in the 200 block of Sherbrooke Drive on Jan. 24. Crews arrived to find smoke coming from the home and established a water supply before advancing multiple attack lines for an interior fire attack while conducting search operations.
Exterior crews conducted vertical ventilation to support interior operations.
All occupants safely evacuated before firefighters arrived and no injuries were reported…
