To The Point: Former Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan weighs on governor race

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On this “To The Point,” former Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan talks about why he thinks his independent bid for governor might just be the “ticket.”

“Gallup last week released their annual poll,” he said. “They’ve been doing it since the 1980s. Ask Americans, do you consider yourself a Republican, or Democrat, or independent? And this year the Gallup numbers — 27% Republican, an all-time low. 27% consider themselves Democrats an all-time low, 45% consider themselves independent — all time high. This country is fed up with what’s going on.”
